What is English Breakfast Tea?
English Breakfast is a classic blend of black teas, traditionally sourced from estates in Assam, Ceylon, and East Africa. Known for its rich, full-bodied flavour, it’s a tea that stands up beautifully to milk and sugar, but a high-quality blend is just as enjoyable on its own.
Why is it called English Breakfast Tea?
The name reflects its strong, invigorating nature. It rose to popularity in the late 19th century, with one story crediting Scottish tea master Robert Drysdale, who promoted a stronger morning brew. Legend has it that Queen Victoria first tried it in Scotland and brought it back to England, giving rise to its enduring name.

I found this tea to be really refreshing. As someone who never drinks tea without milk I thought would try it on it's own and was pleasantly surprised at how lovely it was. The young gentlemen on the stall were very helpful and knowledgeable they really know their stuff I will definitely be returning I especially like to support local business
